This is our most favourite camping ground. The beaches are unspoilt and the campsite is very well maintained. There are the most beautiful sights over looking different beaches from the bushwalk around the headland. Plenty of kangaroos, kookaburras and goannas It's only a short drive into town in case you've forgotten anything. I can't wait to get back there.

Great place for a weekend getaway, the grounds and facilities are clean and well maintained. You can leisurely go for a hike around the national park or go for a swim. Keep an eye for the wildlife, saw a lace monitor roaming the camping grounds, a few wallabies and even whales.

Good facilities in a stunning part of the world. Stayed in the more secluded Walk-In camp (you can park at the bottom of some steps and carry stuff so more like a hobble-in site) which is pretty much on the beach with gorgeous views and it's own 'private' cliff look out. We were the only tent there - October mid week - so incredibly private, but the main caravan area was pretty busy. You would definitely need to pre book in high-season. Cold showers and flushing toilets plus washing up tap and electric BBQ's in main site and drop loo by walk in / beach. Gorgeous beach, bush walks and rock pooling. Ice, fire-pit braziers and wood from office plus maps etc. Visited all the camp sites in Crowdy Bay and chose the walk in camp at Diamond Head as the lady in the office said no one else had booked yet.

Stayed here once, very nice spot. Very busy during school holidays though. Has toliets, bbq, etc. nice and clean and heaps of room. Lots of Kangaroos too!

Booked (required) and stayed in the walk in camp section, thankfully, it was not crowded like the caravan crazy section.

Great short walk to the beach and amenities, grassy site mostly flat. Nice walk to lookouts as well.
