    I have previously brought a computer from Dunlop IT as well as parts on other occasions, I could not fault them, friendly staff and prompt service great local business 5/5

    First do no harm. I damaged the hinge on my laptop while traveling overseas - it was a 2.5cm crack and raised at the right hinge side. After upgrading to Windows 10, I took the laptop into Bruce Dunlop Computers for an assessment or repair. I made a three hour round trip to speak with Bruce about the damage he'd reported when he advised me that it was irreparable. When I picked it up, the hinge was severed from both the screen and the base and it will no longer connect to the internet. I e-mailed Bruce to talk about the issue, that was four days ago and I have not received a reply. I left my laptop in the hands of professionals and I trusted that it would be returned to me in the same condition, even if it was not able to be repaired. I am disappointed with this outcome and could not recommend this service to others.
